History

1976

As a result of Department of Construction Operations split two new departments appeared – Department of Construction Technology and Department of Organization, Planning and Management. The main teaching and learning areas were construction management and construction automation systems.

The School of Workflow was established. Its research areas were the following:

  • Detailed work balance, decision options comparison and choice in construction regulations development;
  • List of works appointment and working areas division;
  • Formation and improvement of work activity management methods;
  • Comparison analysis of construction management by both absolute and relative criteria;
  • Actual progress schedule making, analysis and use in construction.

1998

The Department of Organization, Planning and Management was united with the Department of Labour Safety into the Department of Construction Management.

2005

The Department of Property Management and Expertise separated from the Department of Construction Management.

2014-2017

Department of Construction Management was united with the Department of Construction Technology into the Department of Construction Operations and then divided again.
