Pro-Rector for Scientific Research and Innovations Valeriy Ivanovich Morozov Born in 1951 in the town of Rubtzovsk, the Altai Region. Graduated from the Altai Polytechnic Institute named after I.I.Polzunov in specialty “Industrial and Civil Construction”. Doctor of Technical Sciences (1995), Professor at the Chair of Reinforced Concrete and Stone Structures(1996), the Councilor of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (2005) Valeriy Ivanovich Morozov has been working in the SPSUACE since 1973, first as a Assistant Professor, Professor, Deputy Dean, Deputy Pro Rector, Pro Rector for Scientific Work, Pro Rector for Scientific Research and Innovations (since 2005 up to present time). Awarded with a diploma of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation (2002). Scientific interests of Mr. V.I.Morozov cover the theory of reinforced concrete, reinforced concrete structures, theory, calculation and designing of structures under the effect of high pressure, including such conditions as heating and radio-activity influence on construction process with the application of power, building and special technologies. Also here may be included investigation of buildings and structures, expertise of project documentation, designing buildings and structures under conditions of dense historical building-up.

Mr. V.I.Morozov has organized and has been in charge of publishing scientific-technical reviewed journal “Vestnik Grazhdanskih Inzhenerov”(News for Civil Engineers - if translated into English) that is in great demand among readers and has a high authority among professionals and scientists. He is the author of over 50 scientific publications and three patents. Professor V.I.Morozov has been a research supervisor to young specialists - seekers of PhD degree. At present he also supervises research work of two seekers of DSc degree.
