Theme       “ Architectural Seasons “ in St.Petersburg St.Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering is organizing annual International conference “Architectural Seasons in St.Petersburg” The objectives: - To enable  the exchange of knowledge and experience of  architects and students from around the world,  providing the opportunity to meet collegues and expand their network. - To involve students, as well as young specialists in the international proffessional network. - The International Convention is planned for April, 26-30, 2010 Theme of  conference - “ Centers of Historical Cities. Reconstruction and new construction” - Following topics are intended to be discussed: 1. Modern development of historical cities centers 2. Author's concepts of architectural design in historical cities centers 3. New construction in historical centers 4. Reconstruction of buildings for new functions 5. Conflicts between demands of city development and preservation of historical heritage 6. Projects of parks and gardens reconstruction in historical cities 7. Landscape design in historical cities In the course of the convention following events will be organized: - Conferences - Students'  workshops - Competition of students' projects - Publishing of conference's input in the revue (magazine) "Architectural Seasons in St.Petersburg" - Excursions - Entertainment
