Committee on Science and Higher Education in accordance with the Decree of the Government of St Petersburg dated 25 June, 2010 No. 823 “On the awards of the Government of St Petersburg to the winners of the grant competition for university students located in St Petersburg, PhD students of universities, industry and academic institutions located on the territory of St Petersburg" is holding a grant competition for university students of St Petersburg, PhD students of universities, industry and academic institutions located on the territory of St Petersburg.
The purpose of the competition: development of the scientific activities of young people.
The competition is held in the following areas:
- humanitarian sciences;
- natural and exact sciences;
- technical science;
- medical sciences;
- culture and art.
The competition is open to:
- students who are citizens of the Russian Federation, whose age does not exceed 35 years, studying full-time at universities located in St Petersburg, carrying out scientific, technical activities in universities located in St Petersburg;
- PhD students who are citizens of the Russian Federation, whose age does not exceed 36 years, studying full-time at universities, industry and academic institutes located on the territory of St Petersburg, carrying out scientific, technical activities in universities, industry and academic institutes located on the territory of St Petersburg.
The amount of the award for students is 50,000 rubles, for PhD students – 100,000 rubles.
