The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation announces a competitive selection in 2024 for the appointment of a scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation for PhD students and adjuncts studying full-time in Russian organizations carrying out educational activities and conducting scientific research as part of the implementation of the priorities of scientific and technological development of Russia, defined in the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation.

To qualify for a scholarship, you must take part in the annual competitive selection, having received the consent of the supervisor of your dissertation research, and the consent of the organization in which the postgraduate program is being completed.

The research by scholarship applicants must be based on the priorities defined in the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation, approved on 28 February, 2024.

Scholarship amount: RUB 75,000 monthly for a period of one to four years.

Up to 500 people will become winners of the competition.

Application deadline: until 16:00 Moscow time on 4 April, 2024.

To submit an application, the scholarship applicant and supervisor must register on the website of the Council for the Appointment and Payment of Scholarships of the RF President for PhD students and adjuncts, fill out interactive forms and upload documents in the personal accounts.

The application registered on the website, all competition documents of the applicant and his scientific supervisor are accepted (in one package) for verification until 26 March.
