Research competition for young scientists
"Acoustic Thought"
Within the framework of the IX All-Russian research to practice conference with international participation "Protection against excessive noise and vibration" (organized by the Baltic State Technical University "Voenmeh" named after D. F. Ustinov), a competition for the best project among young specialists was announced.
Nominations:
- "Young Acoustician" – the best project among students of bachelor's, master's and specialist programs;
- "Way to Science" – the best project among PhD students.
Accepted for consideration are works in the field of various areas of acoustics, as well as in related areas, such as:
- theory of sound: general theory of vibrations and waves, geometric acoustics;
- acoustics of moving media, nonlinear acoustics;
- physical acoustics;
- propagation of acoustic waves in natural environments: aeroacoustics, geoacoustics, hydroacoustics;
- electroacoustics;
- architectural acoustics, building acoustics, musical acoustics;
- protection against noise and vibration;
- biological acoustics, physiological and psychological acoustics;
- ultrasound.
A scientific work, submitted for the competition, must be presented in the form of an article, in accordance with the requirements for the selected publication.
To protect and present their work, all participants in the competition must make a presentation at the conference in the competition section (in person or remotely).
Submission deadline: 18:00 17 March 2023.
