The St Petersburg Public Foundation “Museum of Galina Vasilievna Starovoitova” is holding the XXV Annual competition of scientific works of students, PhD students, young scientists under the age of 30 in memory of Galina Vasilievna Starovoitova “Galatea”.
The theme of the competition: “Social inequality.”
The competition accepts scientific articles and essays in the fields of history, sociology, psychology, philosophy, political science, cultural studies, and law in the following areas:
- standard of living and welfare of the population;
- social stratification and inequality;
- political possibilities of inequality;
- legal frameworks of inequality and justice;
- moral implications and psychological problems;
- cultural capital and modern technologies;
- public protection and social work.
The winners will be awarded cash prizes and certificates.

Scientific work for submission must be written in Russian of up to 40 thousand characters accomanied with endnotes and abstract in Russian and English. In a separate letter, the name, year and month of birth of the participant, place of study/work, faculty, course of study, contact information must be provided.
