Seminar by PERI company

With the support of the SPbGASU Division for Student Entrepreneurship and Career, on 4 April, the university hosted a seminar of the company PERI, one of the largest manufacturers of formwork and scaffolding, on the topic “Management, operation and repair of the formwork fleet. Common mistakes, hidden costs and best practices.” The event was attended by representatives of construction organizations in St Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

According to company specialists, the topic of effective management of the formwork fleet is very relevant: the construction process is quite expensive and requires constant replenishment of resources. Today, developers are increasingly thinking about how to create conditions in order to achieve maximum productivity at minimal cost.

Technological formwork is a key factor in this matter, but the equipment itself does not guarantee the effectiveness of the project: it is important to operate it correctly, carry out timely repairs and competently manage the fleet. PERI experts paid attention to these topics, sharing their own experience and best industry practices.
