  • Application of new materials and technologies for the repair and construction of engineering networks
  • Founded a scientific school of "Biological water purification using immobilized microorganisms"; for housing and communal services, industrial enterprises, agro-industrial complex, and other objects, technologies have been developed for preliminary, complete and deep treatment, as well as post-treatment of wastewater by a biological method using immobilized microorganisms
  • Technologies for biological water treatment in bioreactors with different types of carriers of immobilized microorganisms and different hydrodynamic regimes have been developed.
  • New technologies have been developed for the treatment of waste and circulating waters of various industries (metallurgical, meat and dairy, fish, etc.), treatment of circulating waters of industrial fish-breeding systems with a closed water supply cycle, technologies for transporting and processing natural and waste water sludge, various designs of structures and apparatus for the treatment of natural, circulating and waste water, treatment of sediments. Generalized mathematical models and recommendations for the calculation and design of the proposed technological schemes and facilities for the treatment of various categories of wastewater have been developed.
  • A methodology has been developed for determining unaccounted expenses and losses of water in water supply systems, methods for assessing the state of water supply networks, etc.
