Career and Vocational Guidance
for the programs of: Architecture, Design of architectural environment, Urban planning, Reconstruction and restoration of architectural heritage
The course is designed for: secondary school and college students.
Tasks:
- to acquaint applicants with the specifics of each of the fields of study at the SPbGASU Faculty of Architecture;
- to provide applicants with basic knowledge about the fields of study at the SPbGASU Faculty of Architecture, as well as basic knowledge about their future profession;
- to form in the prospective applicant a clear understanding of the difference in the fields of study, as well as an understanding of what and how much they will have to work with in their student years while studying at the SPbGASU Faculty of Architecture;
- to determine the interests, inclinations and abilities of the person taking this course in the field of professional activity, to identify the individual preferences of the student regarding all fields of study at the Faculty of Architecture;
- to introduce a wide range of modern methods of applied scientific research in the field of architecture, restoration, design and urban planning and partially master some of them.
Classes are held in the workshop format in an accessible, maximally adapted language for students; providing the possibility of close communication with current specialists, professionals, teachers of the university. In addition to the teaching staff, attendees have the opportunity to communicate and interact with current students of the SPbGASU Faculty of Architecture, which gives an idea of student life at the university, helps to understand the professional specifics of the programs at the Faculty of Architecture.
Performing small creative projects, the attendee will get acquainted with all fields of study at the SPbGASU Faculty of Architecture, which will help him understand the specifics of these programs and the nature of professional activity in each of them.
Training
- Start: January - February.
- Hours for the program: 52.
- Class mode: once a week for 3–4 academic hours.
- Time of classes: 17:00 – 20:10
- Cost of study: ₽ 13,000.
