Foreign citizens are admitted to PhD studies in all specialties, like Russian citizens:

1. for budget places;
2. for paid places under an agreement (contract);
3. within Rossotrudnichestvo quotas (by referral from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation).

Admission of foreign citizens for PhD studies is carried out in accordance with the rules for admission to PhD programs.

For admission to graduate school, it is necessary to provide a diploma of higher professional education legalized in accordance with the established procedure (if necessary) or a document of a foreign state on education recognized as equivalent in the Russian Federation to a diploma of higher professional education.
