Dear first-year students! Applications are now open for the SPbGASU named scholarship "Freshman Grant" for the 2026/2027 academic year!
If you are a first-year full-time student in any Bachelor’s or Specialist's degree program and are pursuing higher education at SPbGASU for the first time, this is your chance to make a name for yourself, gain well-deserved recognition, and receive financial support for achievements attained during grades 9–11 or your secondary vocational education.
What achievements are taken into account?
We value your initiative and drive! The competition will take into account your results in the following areas:
- academic performance: high school GPA;
- research activities: conference presentations, publication of articles and research papers;
- subject-specific competitions and Olympiads: first place and prize-winning places (second, third);
- projects: participation in interdisciplinary project work;
- civic engagement: volunteer work, patriotic activities;
- career guidance events hosted by SPbGASU.
How do I participate?
Step 1. Preparation (starting 11 September). Log in to your student account on the SPbGASU portal, go to the "Achievements" tab in the side menu, and add your achievements (fill in the fields and upload scans of your achievements—in .pdf or .jpg format—to your portfolio). Please note: the function to create and submit an application will not be available at this stage.
Step 2. Submitting an application (17–21 September). The official application submission period opens on these dates. Be sure to log in to your personal account on the SPbGASU portal, create an application, and—after entering all the required information—click "Submit application."
