Foreign students of the SPbGASU Preparatory department successfully completed the Russian language course. Among them are future students of our university. In a ceremonial atmosphere, they were presented with the corresponding certificates.

As Olga Baskina, Head of the preparatory department for foreign applicants at SPbGASU, explained, 44 students received certificates of successful completion of the course, and their exam results were impressive: in such a short period of time, the students managed to master the basics of the Russian language primarily due to their own persistence and determination.

Head of the SPbGASU International Relations Division Shuainat Akhmadulaeva noted that the successful completion of the intensive course was largely due to the teachers and the entire staff of the Department of Intercultural Communication.

Head of the Department of Intercultural Communication Elena Selezneva emphasized that the period of study flew by, including thanks to the meaningful educational program, which included not only classes, but also excursions, interesting meetings, cultural and sports events for greater immersion in the culture of our country and the language environment. The exam results confirmed the effectiveness of this program.

All speakers wished the certificate holders further success in learning Russian and mastering their chosen profession.

Fofana Alpha Ousmane, a master's student at the SPbGASU Faculty of Civil Engineering, from Guinea, already speaks Russian quite well. He received his bachelor's degree in his home country. He came to Russia to improve his level of education and expand his professional competencies.

"I want to continue developing in the construction industry of my country. Russia has a strong engineering school, so I carefully studied the websites of specialized Russian universities. SPbGASU turned out to be exactly the university whose fields of study interested me. I am confident that after completing my master's degree, I will become a high-level professional and make a career in my country," said Usmane.

A bachelor's student of the Faculty of Architecture, Tat Gizem from Turkey, has big plans for her life and professional work in Russia, so she also considers knowledge of the Russian language one of the components of success.

"Russia is close to me in spirit and culture, I have many Russian friends, so I decided to get an education and work in this country in the future. A diploma from SPbGASU is highly valued and provides great opportunities for career growth, so I have no questions about further employment. I know many Turkish companies that successfully operate in Russia, but it does not matter to me what country the employer is from: first of all, I will consider interesting tasks and working conditions," said Gizem.
