The Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering has concluded Construction Week 2026, one of the most exciting and interesting events of the academic year. Thanks to the active participation of the Faculty of Civil Engineering's student council, the program of events was truly extensive and diverse.

Over the course of the week, students were able to not only deepen their knowledge of their future profession but also gain exposure to real-world construction industry practices. This was mostly owing to the university's industry partners: TITAN-2, Setl Group, FSK North-West, Future BIM, and the North-West Office of Rostekhnadzor.

One of the key areas of focus was off-site activities. Construction Week included four excursions to construction sites, including the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant (LNPP) and residential developments in St Petersburg. These trips allowed students to witness real-life construction processes and appreciate the scale of modern projects.

Meetings with industry representatives were equally important. HR directors and training and development specialists from leading companies spoke to students about internship and apprenticeship opportunities and provided advice on resume writing and interviewing. Construction project managers, occupational safety specialists, and the Future BIM team presented current industry trends, focusing on digitalization and the implementation of modern technologies.

Of particular interest was the presentation by representatives of the North-West Office of Rostekhnadzor, who not only shared their professional experience but also invited students to join their team.

In addition to the educational program, construction week also included entertainment events. The student council organized interactive games on the balustrade and held an educational quiz, which provided an excellent opportunity to test knowledge and spend time in an informal setting.

The organizers express their gratitude to the student council, the Deputy Dean for Educational Work Anna Tsarenko, as well as the teachers of the Faculty of Civil Engineering departments for their active participation and support.

Construction Week 2026 has successfully concluded, but the work continues: new meetings, projects, and opportunities for professional growth await SPbGASU students.
