Master's students from the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering represented the university with distinction at the final round of the All-Russian Student Olympiad in "Production and Application of Building Materials, Products, and Structures," which took place on 15-16 April in Novosibirsk. The team included Ksenia Frolova, Karolina Koneva, and Musa Kikaev. Team leader Georgy Khrenov, Associate Professor at the Department of Technology of Construction Materials and Metrology, provided training and support for the participants.

The competition program, held at the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin), included solving complex engineering problems requiring in-depth knowledge and innovative thinking. In addition to the competitive challenges, the master's students visited the TECHNONICOL training center and the KNAUF-NSUACE consulting center, where they learned about innovative technologies for facade, roofing, and finishing works. During the visit, Musa Kikaev distinguished himself in a special partner competition, taking a distinguished second place. The professional program was complemented by a cultural component—a tour of Novosibirsk's historic center.

Following the Olympiad, the SPbGASU team took second place in the team competition. Karolina Koneva confirmed her high level of personal preparation by taking third place in the individual competition. We congratulate the students and their mentor on this outstanding result, and wish them continued professional growth!
