Natalia Efremova and Daria Alekseeva
From 19 to 21 April, the final stage of the All-Russian Student Olympiad in Construction was held at Samara State Technical University.
The Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering was represented by students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Natalia Efremova (first year master's student) and Daria Alekseeva (second year master's student).
Participants were tasked to solve test problems and then present a scientific report to the jury.
Our participation was worthy: Natalia Efremova took first place, Daria Alekseeva – third place.
Our master's students competed not in their main program, "Construction management," but in a related program, "Investment and Construction Management." However, the high level of knowledge they gain at our university allows them to excel even in other fields!
"On the day of the Olympiad, I was one of the last to perform, but the friendly jury members kept me calm. I was thrilled to learn the next day that I had placed first – I consider it a great achievement. I thank SPbGASU for the opportunity to participate in this Olympiad!" shared Daria Alekseeva.
