On December, 11 in the TV program of “Perviy kanal” there was an item dedicated to the 150-year anniversary of Vasily A. Kosiakov – an outstanding architect of Russia of the 19^th-20^th centuries boundary, director of the Institute of civil engineers, now Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering, which celebrated 180-year anniversary this year. On the basis of the projects made by Vasily Kosiakov there were constructed many buildings including building of the August gathering, church of Epiphany, in the port situated on Gutuevsky island, yard complex in Kiev Pechory lavra, Sacred Sinod, Church of Kazan God mother icon of God resurrection Novodevichy monastery and his main creation church of St. Nicholas in Kronstadt (Sea church).
