Congratulations To The Faculty And Staff Who Received Their Degrees And Successfully Defended Their Dissertations In 2025

In 2025, a number of SPbGASU faculty and staff successfully defended their doctoral and PhD dissertations. Several members of the university's faculty and administrative staff were awarded new academic degrees. Congratulations and best wishes for continued success in their academic endeavors!

The academic degree of DSc in Economics was awarded to:

  • Professor at the Department of Management in Construction Aleksandr Vasilyevich Kharitonovich (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 692 dated 8 July, 2025). The topic of the dissertation is "Development of a methodology for managing change in large geographically distributed economic systems (using investment and construction complexes as an example)."

The academic degree of DSc in Engineering was awarded to:

  • Head of the Department of Geotechnics Anatoly Ivanovich Osokin (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 1101/nk dated 24 November, 2025). The topic of the dissertation is "Conceptual foundations and practical application of the principles of scientific and technical justification and support of underground construction in soft soils";
  • Associate Professor at the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation Daria Mikhailovna Denisikhina (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 1101/nk dated 24 November, 2025). The topic of the dissertation is "Scientific foundations of mathematical modeling of air exchange and air distribution in public buildings."

The academic degree of PhD of Economic Sciences was awarded to:

  • Senior Lecturer at the Department of Construction Economics and Housing and Utility Infrastructure Artemy Igorevich Taranov (Order No. 01-17908/001 dated 14 October, 2025). The topic of the dissertation is "Ensuring the economic security of a construction organization."
The academic degree of PhD of Engineering Sciences was awarded to:
  • Senior Lecturer at the Department of Land Transport and Technological Machines Denis Sergeevich Orlov (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 1033/nk dated 23 October, 2025). The topic of the dissertation is "A method for calculating the parameters of hydropneumatic shock absorbers of transport and technological machines";
  • Category II specialist at the SPbGASU Educational Center for Digital Competence Yury Nikolaevich Zgoda (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 1195/nk dated 12 December, 2025). The dissertation topic is "Research and development of high-performance algorithms for calculating thin-walled shell structures.".

Defended dissertation for the degree of DSc in Engineering:

  • Associate Professor at the Department of Land Transport and Technological MachinesYaroslav Vladimirovich Vasiliev. The topic of the dissertation is “Scientific foundations for ensuring the effectiveness of road transport expertise and expert prevention of accidents involving pedestrians.” The defense took place on 28 October, 2025 in the dissertation council 24.2.380.05, created on the basis of SPbGASU. 
Defended dissertations for the degree of PhD of Engineering Sciences:
  • Director of the Smart Labor training site, Assistant at the Department of Technosphere Safety Aleksandr Sergeevich Dmitriev. The topic of the dissertation is "Justification of the parameters of tractors with wheeled and tracked drive for small-volume logging." The defense took place on 26 November 2025 at the dissertation council 24.2.361.02 at the Volga Region State Technological University;
  • Acting Head of the Department of Information and Mathematical Modeling Technologies Alena Andreevna Vedernikova. The topic of the dissertation is "Development of a method for calculating reinforced concrete structural elements in the marginal and post-marginal stages of operation." The defense took place on 2 December 2025 in the dissertation council 24.2.380.01 at SPbGASU;
  • Senior Lecturer at the Department of Geotechnics Ivan Borisovich Bashmakov. The topic of the dissertation is "The influence of weak water-saturated silty-clayey soils on the fencing of excavation pits taking into account excess pore pressures." The defense took place on 9 December 2025 in dissertation council 24.2.380.04 at the SPbGASU;
  • Senior Lecturer at the Department of Geotechnics Alina Vitalievna Kvashuk. The topic of the dissertation is "The impact of contamination of sandy soils with oil products on the condition of structural Foundations." The defense took place on 9 December 2025 in the dissertation council 24.2.380.04 at the SPbGASU;
  • Assistant at the Department of Technology of Construction Materials and Metrology Viktoria Igorevna Tkachenko.Thesis topic is "Modifier of cement composites based on nanocellulose." The defense took place on 15 December 2025 at the dissertation council 24.2.380.04 at SPbGASU;
  • Senior Lecturer at the Department of Technology of Construction Materials and Metrology Sergey Aleksandrovich Cherevko. The dissertation topic is "Modifier of building mixtures based on air-dried lime." The defense took place on 15 December 2025 in dissertation council 24.2.380.04 at our university;
  • Assistant at the Department of Forensics Elizaveta Rostislavovna Magdina. Her dissertation topic is "A method for assessing the wadeability of wheeled transport and technological machines." The dissertation defense took place on 18 December 2025 at the dissertation council 24.2.380.05 at our university.
