Aleksandra Glukhova, Associate Professor at the Department of Architectural and Engineering Constructions, Chairperson of the Council of Young Scientists at SPbGASU, took part in two scientific events: a conference on the popularization of science, held in Moscow at MIREA – Russian Technological University, and the IV All-Russian Acoustics Conference and Session of the Russian Acoustic Society, which took place on 22–26 June in Nizhny Novgorod.

At the acoustics conference, Aleksandra Glukhova presented a paper on "The Evolution of the Architecture of Musical and Performance Facilities," discussing the relationship between the architecture of concert halls and theaters and the acoustic characteristics of the music performed there. She also presented a concept for hybrid concert hall architecture that optimally suits the spectrum of the most frequently performed classical music. With her paper, Aleksandra Glukhova concluded the section on architectural and construction acoustics and opened the section on musical acoustics.

This year, the IV All-Russian Acoustics Conference was held in conjunction with the XXXVIII session of the Russian Scientific and Technical Acoustics Society. The conference included more than 15 sections, including "Physical Acoustics," "Acoustic Metamaterials," "Geoacoustics," "Medical Acoustics," "Noise and Vibration," and others.
