Aleksandra Glukhova, Chair of the SPbGASU Council of Young Scientists and Associate Professor at the Department of Architectural and Engineering Constructions, participated in the "Council of Young Scientists of Architecture and Civil Engineering Universities" session as part of the symposium "The Future of the Construction Industry: Challenges and Development Prospects."
Aleksandra GlukhovaThe event took place at the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering. Aleksandra Glukhova presented the university's experience in conducting the elective course "Fundamentals of Working on a Candidate’s Dissertation," designed for first-year PhD students. In addition, she offered recommendations to young scientists preparing for their dissertation defense and suggested useful tools for their work.
The audience showed particular interest in the presentation of a new study guide titled *Preparation and Defense of Candidate Dissertations in the Field of Construction and Architecture*, authored by Aleksandra Glukhova in collaboration with Rashid Mangushev, DSc in Engineering and Professor at the SPbGASU Department of Geotechnics.
The session featured an exchange of experience among councils of young scientists, as well as presentations on collaboration with student scientific societies and the application of artificial intelligence in the research work of young scientists.
