Seminar participants
Vice-Rector for Youth Policy Elena Aleksandrova and Head of the International Relations Division Shuaynat Akhmadulaeva participated in a seminar on youth policy and student development activities held on 1–2 October at the N. A. Dobrolyubov Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistics University. The seminar focused on the engagement of international students in youth policy and student development initiatives.
Twenty vice-rectors and other specialists responsible for the implementation of youth policy and educational activities from nine universities and one branch campus participated in the seminar.
Participants discussed international cooperation in youth policy and work with talented youth, international youth dialogue platforms within the SCO, BRICS, and EAEU frameworks, tools for fostering a multicultural youth environment, and support for youth civic engagement. In addition, they exchanged experiences regarding work with international students and outlined avenues for collaboration in this area.
Elena Aleksandrova spoke about the results of the seminar: "New ideas and joint projects emerged—for instance, trips across Russia for international students. I hope we will implement this project in collaboration with Nizhny Novgorod, as well as with other cities and universities."
