On 3 December, the industry forum "ROSTIM'25" was held in Moscow. It focused on the digitalization of construction, the development of Russian building information modeling (BIM/TIM) technologies, and their practical application. The event brought together representatives from educational institutions, design and construction companies, and BIM experts.

SPbGASU was represented at the forum by the Director of the Educational Center for Digital Competence Denis Nizhegorodtsev, the Director of the Educational Center for Project-Based Learning (ECPBL) Inna Sukhanova and the leading specialist of the ECPBL Olga Svetlova.

As part of the "Design and construction of civil facilities" section, Denis Nizhegorodtsev presented a paper entitled "Training modern personnel for civil design." In his presentation, he touched on the interaction between educational institutions as suppliers of qualified personnel and construction and design companies as their key consumers. Particular attention was paid to the role of industrial partners in the educational process and the practical training of students. The paper presented SPbGASU key projects, implemented with the direct participation of industry representatives.

In addition, as part of the forum, SPbGASU students Edgar Barseghyan and Sofia Biryulya presented a project completed at the elective course "Project-Based Activity." They presented the project "BIM model of a high-rise building in Renga," developed jointly with the university's industrial partner, SetlGroup

Sofia Biryulya shared her impressions of participating in the forum: "For us, this project is an opportunity to gain experience working as a team. Thanks to the assignment from SetlGroup to design a high-rise building, it also offers an interesting professional challenge. Dmitry Sergeev, the mentor on behalf of the company, helps us understand the real-life challenges facing the design bureau."

The participation of SPbGASU representatives in the ROSTIM'25 forum confirmed the university's active role in developing digital technologies in construction and training specialists in demand by the modern industry.
