Lecturers of the SPbGASU Department of Construction Technology, Professors Yury Kazakov, Andrey Egorov and Associate Professor Yury Tilinin were awarded a medal and three diplomas at the All-Russian competition of the Russian Engineering Academy named after the printing pioneer Ivan Fedorov for the best textbooks of 2025.
Yury Kazakov, DSc in Engineering and RAACS Advisor, received an award for his textbook "Organization, Planning, and Management in Construction." The textbook was co-authored with colleagues from the General of the Army A.V. Khrulyov Military Academy of Logistics. It distinguishes itself from other textbooks on the topic by providing information on the construction of not only civilian but also specialized and military facilities, including in armed conflicts.
Professor Kazakov and Associate Professor Tilinin also won a competition for their textbook "Construction of Buildings from Volumetric Elements." The publication examines issues related to modular construction. Its provisions are consistent with the Strategy for the Development of the Construction Industry and Housing and Utilities Sector in Russia until 2030.
Andrey Egorov, Professor at the department, DSc in Economics, Professor, and expert in the QS World University Rankings, also won the competition and received a diploma for his textbook "Technology for the Installation of Operable Green Inversion Roofs." The textbook was co-authored with Artur Tugushev, a master's student in the department. The authors present materials on structural design, the use of specific materials, and installation. This approach allows for the creation of a green area on the roof while protecting the roofing material from external factors.
All the textbooks are devoted to current topics, have high scientific significance and practical value, and are used in the educational process at the Department of Construction Technology and other departments of SPbGASU, as well as in other educational institutions.
