On 12 December, a ceremony presenting state awards of the Russian Federation and the Governor of Saint Petersburg took place in the Assembly Hall of Smolny.

Among those awarded by Governor Alexander Beglov are employees of our university.

Rashid Abdullovich Mangushev, Professor at the Department of Geotechnics, Doctor of Engineering was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation" by decree of the President of Russia.

Irina Yuryevna Lapina, the Head of the Department of History and Philosophy, Doctor of Historical Sciences, was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Worker of Higher Education of Saint Petersburg" by decree of the Governor of Saint Petersburg.
