From 31 March to 5 April, the 11th Rosatom State Corporation Industry-Wide Championship of Professional Skills, AtomSkills-2026, was held in Ekaterinburg. The competition featured 44 competencies, with over 1,500 participants and experts competing across three leagues.
Students from the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering competed in two competencies at the championship: "Engineering design in construction" (command lines) and "Estimate business" (individual order). Preparation for the competition took several months at the Atomenergoproekt Center of Excellence.
In the "Engineering design in construction" competency, SPbGASU was represented by:

Anzhelika Yakovleva, structural design engineer, fourth-year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering;

Daniil Lukanin, pipeline systems design engineer, second-year master’s student at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Municipal Services;

Sergey Sergeev, electrical design engineer, first-year master’s student at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Municipal Services;

Nina Gagulina, information modeling specialist, fourth-year student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering;

Anna Yarullina, expert mentor, first-year master’s student at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Municipal Services;

Polina Orlova, expert mentor, first-year master's student at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Municipal Services.
Andrey Orlov, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Economics and Management, represented SPbGASU in the “Estimate business” competency.
The team leader of the SPbGASU delegation was Yury Zgoda, a II category specialist at the Educational Center for Digital Competence.
Following the results of the competition, the SPbGASU team in the "Engineering design in construction" category took second place in the Student League.
Andrey Orlov won third place in the Student League in the "Estimate business" competency.
