At the end of January, the finale of the 15th International Friendship Festival "Nobody Forgotten – Nothing Forgotten" took place in the form of an online concert. The festival is organized by the Faculty of Philology of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory Day and the theme of preserving historical memory.
This year, the competition received 222 applications from 286 participants from 30 universities and 44 countries, highlighting the event's international scope and the interest in the Russian language, culture, and history.
The SPbGASU Department of Intercultural Communication participated in this prestigious competition for the first time. The Preparatory Department for Foreign Applicants was represented by four participants, who competed in the "Melodeclamation of a Poem" category. Two students from the Preparatory Department won the festival: Jose Enrique Perez (Ecuador) and Hoang Ngoc Hue (Vietnam).
