Anna Kozhemyak, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, successfully participated in the All-Russian competition for research projects in the fields of architecture, construction, and housing and utilities. The competition was organized by the Association of Civil Engineering Universities, the Federal Educational and Methodological Association for Higher Education (covering the broad field of "Construction Engineering and Technology"), and the "Construction and Architecture" industry consortium. The event was hosted by Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
Under the guidance of Aleksandra Glukhova, an Associate Professor at the Department of Architectural and Engineering Constructions, Anna Kozhemyak prepared a project titled "Acoustic Ecology Methods in Urban Infrastructure," successfully passed the qualifying and final stages, and took third place in the "Architecture" category.
This is not the first time Anna Kozhemyak has participated in scientific events and competitions. For her competition project, she examined and systematized effective urban planning methods that positively influence the acoustic landscape of residential areas, using completed projects in Orenburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Moscow as case studies.
