SPbGASU Students Honored At The Architectural Heritage Festival

The IX All-Russian Festival "Architectural Heritage" took place in Rostov-on-Don.

This annual national event brings together leading Russian and international experts, architects, urban planners, and restorers, creating a platform for open dialogue and showcasing the best achievements in preserving and developing Russia's architectural heritage.

The festival included a "Best Student Work" competition. The St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering was represented at the competition by the Department of Architectural Environmental Design. The Department submitted graduation projects from bachelor's students majoring in "Architectural Environmental Design" dedicated to the preservation and renovation of industrial architectural monuments. The scientific supervisors were Maria Granstrem, Head of the Department of Architectural Environmental Design and PhD of Architecture, and Yan Korzhempo, Associate Professor at the Department.

The bronze diploma was awarded to the work of Maria Shirokova "Public interior in the production buildings of the factory of Baron A.L. Stieglitz". The works of Elizaveta Luksha and Daria Skobeleva were awarded diplomas from the Union of Architects of Russia.

All three students are currently in their first year of Master's degree programs in Design of Urban Environment and Interiors.
