SPbGASU Students Participate In The Eastern Economic Forum's Youth Day

On 4 September, students of the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering Ekaterina Buryak, Zlata Zolotykh and German Sergeev took part in the Youth Day as part of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

The Eastern Economic Forum Youth Day brought together young professionals and students from across Russia. Participants were able to learn about the current development agenda in the Russian Far East, discuss modern technologies, and the role of youth in the country's socioeconomic development.

As part of the forum's program, SPbGASU students attended thematic sessions devoted to the development prospects of the Far East, the implementation of modern technologies, and the professional development of young specialists. Topics discussed included the application of artificial intelligence in various fields, the potential of neural networks in business and education, and cybersecurity.

A separate part of the program was the "Far East Street" exhibition, this time dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. At the venue, participants learned about the culture, traditions, and modern achievements of the Far East regions, and also saw promising developments.

"I am very grateful for this unique opportunity to participate in the forum! It's an invaluable experience that opens my eyes to how the economy really works, how important decisions are made, and how young professionals can influence the development of entire regions," shared Zlata Zolotykh.

Ekaterina Buryak also noted the significance of the trip: "Vladivostok greeted us with incredible energy, and interacting with experts and participants from different cities inspired new ideas. Events like these not only give us knowledge and self-confidence, but also the understanding that our future depends on us. A huge thank you to the university for the opportunity to participate in such a large-scale event!"

SPbGASU student German Sergeev emphasized that the trip provided the opportunity not only to participate in discussions and workshops but also to meet young leaders from various regions: "The trip provided a unique experience of lively interaction with young leaders from various regions and experts shaping the future of the Far East. In addition to the vibrant discussions and workshops, I was memorably struck by the city's unique atmosphere, where ambitious infrastructure solutions coexist with the majesty of the Pacific Ocean."

In addition to a busy business program, students got acquainted with the sights of Vladivostok: they saw the famous Golden and Russian bridges, and also visited the Primorsky Oceanarium.
