On 8–9 October, the II Gathering of Sponsored Students from the TITAN-2 holding company took place in Sosnovy Bor, Leningrad Region. The event brought together 51 students enrolled in company-sponsored study programs at the country’s leading universities—including seven students from the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The program of the gathering gave participants an opportunity to learn about the holding company’s operations and the specifics of their future profession. The students visited the construction site of the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant (LNPP-2), the TITAN-2 company museum, and the workshop of TITAN TECHNOLOGY PIPELINE LLC; they also attended a lecture on the company’s activities and took part in training sessions focused on personal effectiveness and public speaking.

In addition, the students spoke with the heads of the holding company’s key divisions and analyzed typical situations that young professionals encounter early in their careers. This format helped the participants gain a better understanding of employer expectations and the tasks they will need to address in a real-life professional setting.

During the business game "Simply Building the Complex," guests had the chance to step into the role of engineers. Over the course of two and a half hours, teams constructed a Rube Goldberg machine—a device that completes a simple task through a chain of sequential actions (the "domino effect"). Participants needed to apply creative and engineering thinking, delegate tasks, and collaborate to find solutions. The winners received prizes.

"We always welcome such fruitful cooperation with our partners. TITAN-2 regularly organizes events for its target group of students, preparing them for careers in the nuclear industry from the very beginning of their studies—including by inviting them to visit their project sites. For our students, this is a unique opportunity to gain insight into what awaits them in the workplace while still pursuing their education; for the company, it is a chance to cultivate specialists tailored to its specific needs and corporate culture. We believe this experience is worth noting and replicating. TITAN-2 is a reliable partner to our university; the holding company consistently shares current job openings for our students and graduates.
