From 20 to 25 April, students of the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering took part in the V International Scientific and Technical Conference of Students and Cadets "Science Days", organized by the Kaliningrad State Technical University (KSTU).
The SPbGASU delegation at the conference included members of the student scientific society of the Department of Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics: Ivan Andreev, Anastasia Vdovykina, Daria Gavrilova and Gordey Kozlov. The delegation was led by Associate Professor at the Department Yuliana Guryeva, who delivered welcoming remarks at the opening of the conference on 20 April.
On 25 April, at a meeting of the Construction section, SPbGASU students presented the following research:

In addition to scientific program, the SPbGASU delegation participated in a number of educational and cultural events. The students visited KSTU laboratories, the construction site of the "Russian Europe" residential complex, and the city of Svetlogorsk, where they learned about the unique features of resort development.
Particular attention was paid to a visit to the "Monument to 1200 Guardsmen" memorial. Participants learned about the history of the Battle of Königsberg (Kaliningrad) during the Great Patriotic War, as well as the procedure and results of the monument's survey and recommendations for strengthening its structural elements.
During the visit to the construction site of the "Russian Europe" residential complex, students were briefed on the procedures for performing specific types of work and were shown the modern and unique technologies used in the complex's construction.
As part of the conference's business program, SPbGASU participants took part in the STARTUP HUB event (23 April), which included training sessions on developing entrepreneurial competencies, a business idea pipeline, pitch sessions, and project presentations.
Participation in the conference allowed SPbGASU students to present the results of their scientific research, exchange experiences with representatives of other universities, and expand their professional competencies in the fields of construction and architecture.
