SPbGASU students were among the winners of the grant competition "Rosmolodezh. Grants". This is a federal competition for proactive youth, which supports the best ideas aimed at the development of science, education, ecology, culture and social initiatives.
Fourth-year student of the Faculty of Architecture Anastasia Fedakova and the team of organizers of the creative forum "Architectural Seasons" won in the nomination #inspire, and third-year student of the Faculty of Forensics and Law in Construction and Transport Daria Meleshina and the team of the "InfoShield" project became winners in the nomination #you_are_not_alone.
"I am very glad that our project managed to attract attention and receive support from the Rosmolodezh. Grants program. The Architectural Seasons project is very important for the Faculty of Architecture, and has been running for ten years now. It is important for us to acquire new opportunities to scale the project and attract new participants. The Architectural Seasons of the next year will include a competition and forum for young specialists in the field of architecture, an educational and awareness-raising platform, and an open exhibition of the winners' works in St Petersburg, which everyone can see," said Anastasia Fedakova.
The educational project "InfoShield" is aimed at teaching St Petersburg schoolchildren of grades 8-11 the basics of information security. Within its framework, it is planned to create educational podcasts with the participation of teachers of the Faculty of Forensics and Law in Construction and Transport and invited experts, law enforcement officers, conduct interactive lectures, master classes, business games, as well as an Olympiad for schoolchildren on the topic of the project.
"For me, this is more than just a project - I put my soul and a lot of effort into it. But most importantly, there was a team nearby that believed, supported and went to the end. This victory is the merit of people with whom you can move mountains," shared Daria Meleshina.
In February 2025, the SPbGASU Youth Policy Division organized an intensive course on social design, to which experts and winners of the Rosmolodezh. Grants competition were invited. The discussion focused on what a social project was, how to determine the target audience, identify the problem and build a project strategy. Similar events are planned to be held systematically. In addition, the Youth Policy Division provides methodological and organizational support to those wishing to participate in the grant competition and invites them to consultations.
