Team “Six Seven”: Daniel Oksanen, Kirill Besedin, Kirill Ivanov, Olga Gavrichenkova, Anna Yarullina and Polina Orlova
On 20 May, the final of the XIV season of the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship took place. It was held in Moscow at the MISIS University of Science and Technology. The event, supported by the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunities," brought together 760 participants from Russia and 14 other countries. The St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering won a bronze medal and a special award.
Two teams from SPbGASU participated in the finals, presenting projects in the "Architecture, Design, Construction, and Housing and Public Utilities" category.
Team Six Seven won the championship's bronze medal for their solution to the case "Development of a concept for a multifunctional residential complex with underground parking and integrated comfort-class non-residential faculities." The team consists of Daniel Oksanen, Kirill Besedin, Kirill Ivanov, Olga Gavrichenkova, Anna Yarullina, and Polina Orlova. In their project, the team demonstrated a thorough understanding of structural and engineering systems, high-quality design documentation, and well-thought-out layouts. Architectural visualization brings the concept to life: three-dimensional models and panoramic views convey the atmosphere of the future space, emphasize the originality of the architectural solution, and help to experience the comfort that residents will receive. The team was mentored by Maksim Sankov, Assistant at the SPbGASU Department of Water Use and Environment.
