As part of the academic mobility program, 25 students from the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering are completing an internship at Henan University of Urban Construction (HUUC) in the People's Republic of China. The visit is organized in accordance with a cooperation agreement between the two universities and will last from 6 to 30 April.

The internship program is rich and includes a wide range of activities. Its main goal is to provide students with the opportunity to immerse themselves more deeply in the distinctive Chinese culture and introduce future specialists to China's construction industry, its traditions, and its modern achievements.

The internship's grand opening took place on 8 April. Participants were given a detailed overview of the program's content, its key events, and the long-standing fruitful collaboration between SPbGASU and HUUC.

Sofia Nikolaeva, a fourth-year student in the SPbGASU Faculty of Architecture, delivered a welcoming speech: She thanked the representatives of the Chinese university for the warm welcome and wished the program participants a successful, interesting, and fruitful internship.

The visit's program is diverse and harmoniously combines educational and cultural events. The students have already visited the Pingdingshan Museum, the renowned Shaolin Monastery—one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China—and Zhongyue Temple, an ancient Taoist temple and a significant spiritual site in Henan Province.
