The dancing group "Made'IRA" became the laureate of the All-Russian festival

Modern dance studio "Made'IRA" was awarded the title of laureate of the II degree at the All-Russian Festival of Choreographic Art "5 Stars". The event was held from 1 to 3 April in Kazan with the support of the North-West Cultural Center for Competitions and Festivals "Creative Movement "Inspiration"".

49 teams took part in the festival, 170 acts were performed. In the nomination "Variety dance" the SPbGASU dancing group presented to the jury the "Tsvetaeva" dance, which won first place in the preliminary absentee selection.

– For me, Marina Tsvetaeva is a very complex and at the same time creatively powerful person. I wanted to acquaint the girls with her work, with her life. It was very interesting how the girls would feel it, – said the head of the studio Irina Deeva.{gallery name="деева04"}

Members of the dancing group shared their impressions of the performance.

– We've made a long way to this stage. A path that is measured not only by kilometers of roads, but also by hours of rehearsals. Each of us worked at full strength and tried not to let the team down. We managed to convey the dance idea to the audience,” says Sofia Lisitsinskaya, a third-year student at the Faculty of Economics and Management.

– During the announcement of the results, we waited with great hope for the name of our team to be heard. We worried a lot, but we believed that the cherished "Made'IRA" would be pronounced. And finally: "Made'IRA – laureate of the II degree." We are happy! It was a rather difficult competition, the rivals were very strong, – said Daria Barinova, a third-year student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

– The team does not plan to stop there. We will continue to work and prepare new acts to delight the audience. To conquer other cities of Russia is also our plan, and for this it is necessary to work, work and work again! Our next stop is the All-Russian Student Spring Festival, said Diana Shagiakhmetova, a second-year student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

The North-Western Cultural Center for Competitions and Festivals "Creative Movement "Inspiration"" sent thanks to the SPbGASU rector Evgeny Rybnov for supporting the choreographic team and developing student creativity.

– One competition, two or even three is not an indicator. I have seen how some interesting teams “burn out”, despair… But any closed door is an opportunity to enter another open door. Do not despair, create, think, analyze. I lead the students to the conclusion that any competition is, of course, great. But we have a global creative task - to speak out, – Irina Deeva is sure.
