On 25 September, three lecturers from our university were admitted to the Union of Architects of the Russian Federation during an off-site meeting of the Presidium of the St Petersburg and Leningrad Region Union of Architects (SPbLOSA)—held at the "Architect" Creative Center in Zelenogorsk—which was dedicated to the admission of new members.
The leading professional association has admitted lecturers from the Department of Architectural Environment Design (AED) Vasily Gomozov, Ilya Edemsky, and Mikhail Brodach.
The new members of the union were congratulated by the President of SPbLOSA and Honored Architect of Russia Vladimir Grigoryev, and by the Acting Head of the SPbGASU Department of Architectural Environment Design and Chairman of the Council on Architecture and Urban Planning of the Leningrad Region and Northwest Russia Sergey Lutchenko.

Following the event, Vladimir Grigoryev and Sergey Lutchenko planted two oak trees to mark the formation of the unified Union of Architects of St Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, which took place this summer.
