On 17 November, the "Designer's Word" meeting was held at the "Growth Point" space of SPbGASU. The event, part of the celebration of Designer's Day, brought together students from various faculties who had the opportunity to interact with practicing specialists.

The participants were addressed with a welcoming speech by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering for educational work, senior lecturer at the Department of Construction Management, Anna Tsarenko, and the Chairperson of the Student Council of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Valeria Melnik.

The speakers at the meeting were:

• Anton Tukkia, General Director of the engineering company "Gorod-A";
• Konstantin Ustinov, chief project engineer of the Samolet company;
• Aleksandra Rakhmankulova, design engineer at Lengiproneftekhim LLC;
• Vladimir Nuriev, Head of the author's supervision department for St Petersburg, OOO "Project Bureau R1";
• Alena Petrova, chief architect of the project, Design Bureau R1 LLC;
• Andrey Koronin, Head of the design department of SK Gorod LLC;
• Margarita Komarets, General Director of St-8 LLC;
• Anton Nazarov, chief designer of LEGENDA DOM LLC.

During the live discussion, students learned about design work, professional prospects, career development, and the skills in demand among today's professionals. Many students noted that after the meeting, they gained a better understanding of their future profession, new development goals, and increased motivation.

Third-year student at the Faculty of Architecture Amina Magomedova: "The event was worth every minute. It was fascinating to listen to the speakers; I learned a lot about what I need to be prepared for in my future career, asked questions that were important to me, and understood what I should strive for. These types of meetings allow you to see the profession from the inside and more accurately determine your own career path."
