The university has arranged trial access to Lan-GPT—Russia’s first specialized generative neural network that creates logically structured texts based on verified content from the Lan Electronic Library. The AI assistant generates responses with links to specific excerpts from publications, enabling users to verify the information against the original academic source.
Unlike general-purpose models, LanGPT does not search the Internet, fabricate information, or require the manual uploading of documents. This eliminates risks such as the generation of inaccurate facts, the creation of links to non-existent publications, the use of unverified sources, and the production of texts lacking scientific verifiability.
The service was developed specifically for the education sector and is suitable for the daily work of university students and staff—including the preparation of courses, lectures, teaching materials, assignments, reference texts, essays, reports, term papers and final qualification works, study notes, lesson plans, tests, reading lists formatted according to GOST standards, development programs, and more.
LanGPT operates on the developer's own server infrastructure located within the Russian Federation; as a digital product, it fully aligns with the national objectives for artificial intelligence development outlined in the list of instructions issued by the President of the Russian Federation following the "Journey into the World of Artificial Intelligence" conference on 3 January, 2026.
In 2026, LanGPT won the "Gravity 2026" International University Award in AI and Big Data in the category "Innovations in the Educational Process and Workforce Training."
The service is available in the Lan Electronic Library
