Marina Malyutina's speech
The St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering's "Growth Point" event summarized the year's implementation of youth policy and educational activities. The event was attended by students, teachers, and staff—all those who contributed to the development of an active, vibrant, and proactive student community throughout the year.
Vice-Rector for Youth Policy Marina Malyutina addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. She emphasized that summing up the year's results has become a new, good tradition for the university and allows not only to celebrate achievements but also to thank everyone involved in shaping youth policy.
The Vice-Rector paid special attention to the university's performance at the federal level. SPbGASU was ranked 9th in St Petersburg and 88th in Russia for educational activities, a feat made possible by the active project-based, volunteer, and proactive work of its students. Marina Viktorovna noted that students are not only the receiving but also the giving party of youth policy; they are capable of shaping its direction, implementing their own projects, and utilizing the opportunities offered by federal programs and platforms.
Then, certificates of gratitude were presented to the university's teachers and staff for their contribution to the development of youth policy and support of student initiatives. First and foremost, recognition was given to all deans' offices, represented by the deputy deans for educational work and career guidance counceling. In addition, awards were presented to the director and specialists of the SPbGASU Center for Student Entrepreneurship and Career, the director of the "Kirpich" Student Creativity Club Irina Deeva, the director of the Center for Physical Education and Sports Oksana Safonova, as well as coaches Margarita Konovalova and Egor Ryabchikov.
For active assistance in organizing and holding youth events, personal contribution and a caring attitude towards student initiatives, was awarded the leading specialist in technical support of the Division of Information Systems Vladimir Faddeev, and for personal contribution to the development of youth policy and improvement of educational activities, as well as for supporting student initiatives and promoting the development of the creative potential of young people, a gratitude was presented to the Head of the SPbGASU Youth Policy Division Irina Nuryeva.
Special thanks were given to Departments that actively engage students in project-based activities and the All-Russian student project "Your Move": the Department of Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics, the Department of Legal Studies, the Department of Legal Regulation of Urban-Planning Activities and Transport, and the Department of Architectural and Engineering Constructions. Acting Head of the Department of Geodesy, Land Management and Cadastre, Yana Volkova, received special recognition.
In addition, awards were presented to students who demonstrated high activity in student government, volunteer, sports and project activities, and in the work of student media. Gratitude was received by Anastasia Kozlova, Nikita Grigoriev, Olga Kostyleva, Zlata Gushchina, Maria Tyrbyleva, Ekaterina Rodevich, Arseniy Vakulenko (all from the Faculty of Civil Engineering), German Sergeev (Faculty of Automobile and Road Building), Anna Snetkova (Faculty of Economics and Management), Ksenia Boltyan (Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Municipal Services), Sofia Andreeva (Faculty of Architecture), as well as students of the Faculty of Forensics and Law in Construction and Transport Alina Pavlova, Stanislav Rotmansky - for media support of student events and Ruslan Kafarov, Egor Kolobov, Daria Meleshina, Artem Vasiliev - for effective organization The educational project "InfoShield," aimed at increasing legal literacy among the younger generation, was implemented with the support of the Rosmolodezh Grants program. The gratitude was received by the Chair of the International Students Council, PhD student Antonia Angelova.
The university's creative and media associations were also recognized. The Kirpich media studio, along with its active participant and director, Andrey Kostrikin, received gratitude for their professional coverage of youth projects and their contribution to the development of the university media space. Gratitude was also given to Maria Roshchina, Anastasia Kopylova, Elizaveta Sukhinina, Vidana Kirsanova, Angelina Tomilina, and Svetlana Koroleva, activists of the Kirpich Student Creativity Club.
At the end of the event, the results of the student initiative—the Faculties New Year's Tree Competition—were announced. All the university's faculties participated. Winners were announced in several categories: for creativity, atmosphere, and originality of the submitted works.
