On 16 April, the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering held a closing ceremony for the final round of the All-Russian Student Olympiad "Roads and Airfields" in the field of study 08.03.01 Civil engineering (bachelor's degree level).

Over the course of three days, participants from nine leading Russian universities demonstrated a high level of theoretical and practical preparation, completing test assignments and solving complex professional problems. The Olympiad brought together 26 students and served not only as a platform for intellectual competition but also as an important stage in the professional development of future road construction specialists.

The final day took place in the university's Nikolaevsky Hall, where the event's opening ceremony had taken place earlier. The closing ceremony brought together participants, jury members, university representatives, and partners, creating an atmosphere of significant accomplishments and professional unity.

Andrey Zazykin, Dean of the Faculty of Automobile and Road Building, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Summing up the competition days, he noted the high level of each and every participant: "We truly enjoyed watching your work. We can certainly be confident about Russia's future. Looking at the results, all participants demonstrated roughly the same time to complete the tasks and similar levels of solutions. In a sense, you are all winners, but the Olympiad remains a competition to determine the strongest."
