On 18 May, the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering started the qualifying round of the All-Russian TIM-Championship of SPbGASU 2026.
The competition is being held as part of the federal innovation platform "Innovative methodology for developing digital professional competencies of students and specialists in the construction industry."
The goal of the championship is to improve the quality of specialists training for the construction industry, develop students' practical skills in working with information modeling technologies (TIM), and promote engineering and construction specialties.
Participation in competitions allows future specialists to:

apply theoretical knowledge to solving real project tasks;

master modern software packages for information modeling;

gain experience in teamwork on a complex project;

demonstrate their competencies to potential employers.
Stages of the qualifying round:

in-person stage – from 18 to 22 May;
-
project defense and awards ceremony – 26 May.
The in-person championship is taking place at the SPbGASU Educational Center for Digital Competence (ECDC, 123/5 Fontanka River Embankment). The project defense and awards ceremony will take place in the SPbGASU Academic Council Meeting Hall.
Information about the winners and runners-up of the qualifying round will be published on the SPbGASU official website after the competition.
