On 15 May, a meeting between students from the Vologda Region and a delegation from their home region was held at the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. The event aimed to introduce the students to professional development and employment opportunities in the region.
The delegation from the Vologda Region included the head of the Representative Office of the Vologda Region in St Petersburg Yuri Lilein, the deputy head of the Construction Department of the Ministry of Construction of the Vologda Region Lyudmila Zarnitsyna, the head of the Main Directorate for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Vologda Region Aleksey Kiryanov and the general director of the construction company OOO Basis LTD Sergey Shushkov.
The meeting began with a welcoming speech by Marina Malyutina, SPbGASU Vice-Rector for Youth Policy.

Representatives of the Vologda delegation then detailed the opportunities available to young professionals in the region's construction industry. The Vologda Oblast is rapidly developing, implementing large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. Residential complexes, educational institutions, industrial sites, and logistics centers are being built in the region. The students were given a detailed account of the support measures available for young professionals and the employment prospects in the Vologda Region.
