The Department for the Development of Technological Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation begins accepting applications for the XIII Youth award in Science and Innovation. The event is held in the format of the All-Russian competition of short popular science videos.
The purpose of the competition is to identify and support talented youth, popularize science and technological entrepreneurship among students of educational institutions of higher education.
Videos in the student nomination are accepted in the following areas:

Mathematics, computer science and systems sciences

Physics and space sciences
-
Chemistry and materials sciences
-
Biology and life sciences
-
Fundamental medicine research
-
Agricultural sciences
-
Earth sciences
-
Humanities and social sciences
-
Engineering sciences
Videos in the nomination for technology entrepreneurs "In the style of techno" are accepted in the following areas:

Digital technologies
-
Medicine and health
-
New materials and chemical technologies
-
Biotechnology
-
Resource-saving energy
-
Creative industries
-
Robotics
-
Hydrogen
-
Electric transport
-
Flexible electronics
-
Mathematical modeling of materials
-
New instruments and production technologies
There are no thematic restrictions for the popular science nomination "How the World Works".
Based on the results of the competition, awards are given in each category:
1 prize – 100 000 rubles;
2 prize – 75 000 rubles;
3 prize – 50 000 rubles;
+ seven special prizes of 25.000 rubles each.
Application deadline: 17 April 2023.
Students of higer and secondary vocational educational institutions (including graduates of 2023) are invited to participate in the competition. Participation of PhD students and young scientists is allowed only in the nomination "How the World Works" provided that they are not older than 25 years old at the time of the application deadline.
