1. Draft Programme Schedule
April 26 - 30: Exhibition - competition of the best course and diploma students` works.
April 27 - 30: Conference reports by well-known architects and scientists from Saint-Petersburg, Russian Federation and abroad, who are considered to be the best experts on historical city centre reconstruction.
April 27 - 29: project seminars for students.
April 30: summerising the conference results, as well as the results of the students` project seminar and the best course and diploma students` works.
April 27: The city sightseeing including the objects of special interest.

2. Conference: «Historic city centres. Reconstruction, new development»
It is planned to consider following issues at the conference:
1. Modern lines of development of historical cities and their centres.
2. Author's concepts of architectural design of historical cities` centres.
3. New building in the historical centre.
4. Reconstruction of historical buildings to be fitted to perform new functions.
5. The conflict between the city`s requirement for development and preservation of a historical heritage.
6. Projects of reconstruction of squares, gardens and parks in the historical centres.
7. Architectural design and landscape transformations in the historical centre.
3. Project seminar
April 27-29: design seminar on the topic offered by teachers.
April 29: summarising the design seminar and course and diploma projects competition in order to determine the best projects.
4. Publishing the conference materials in the format of a coloured almanac “Architectural Seasons in Saint-Petersburg”.
