The SPbGASU Educational Center for Digital Competence is a space created to integrate digital tools and technologies to develop professional competencies and enhance the qualifications of students and specialists in the digitalization of architecture, construction, housing and utilities, and the road transport sector.
The Center's objectives:
- Implementation of modern digital solutions in the educational process and professional activities.
- Development and implementation of pilot projects in the field of digitalization of construction in collaboration with industrial partners.
- Continuing education for students, teachers, and construction industry specialists through the organization and implementation of various educational events.
- Development of software products, digital information models and their components, solutions for virtual and augmented reality, the application of artificial intelligence, and big data management in architecture, construction, housing and utilities, and the road transport sector.
The Center plays a vital role in training a new generation of professionals capable of working in the digital transformation environment and enhancing their competitiveness in the labor market. For the professional community, the Center serves as a platform for sharing experiences, implementing innovations, and developing digital standards.
The Center's key events:
- All-Russian TIM Championship of SPbGASU among students of universities and colleges;
- International Scientific and Practical Conference "Information Modeling in Construction and Architecture" BIMAC;
- Complex diploma TIM projects;
- Digital construction classes - an educational and career guidance project for students in grades 8-11;
- School Olympiad "All-Russian School TIM Championship".
