Effective training of specialists with higher education for the automotive industry is impossible without cooperation with industry enterprises. The Department of Transport Maintenance cooperates with leading enterprises in the industry, with government agencies that regulate the motor transport sector of the region, with other specialized educational institutions.

Cooperation is organized through various activities:

• internships, field studies, practical training and employment of students and graduates;
• open lectures and master classes from industry experts;
• implementation of diploma projects on topics proposed by enterprises;
• use of materials, software products provided by organizations in the educational process:
• performance of research and contractual work on the order of enterprises;
• advanced training and additional education of personnel of enterprises;
• career guidance activities and activities to promote the employment of students;
• development of recommendations for improving the efficiency of state regulation of certain areas of the motor transport industry.

In the indicated areas the department cooperates with the enterprises, organizations and educational institutions, including such as:

• JSC "Autopark No. 1 "Spetstrans"" (one of the largest freight fleets - a carrier of solid domestic waste);
• Tretiy Park LLC (one of the largest commercial passenger carriers in the city);
• LLC "Green-Truck SPb" (a multi-brand truck service center that develops, among other things, alternative energy technologies);
• the federal franchising network of car service enterprises "EvroAvto" (shops and warehouses of auto parts, points of issue of orders and multi-brand car service stations);
• dealer complex "Avtopole" (one of the largest dealer complexes in St Petersburg and the Leningrad region for the sale and maintenance of new cars and used cars, supporting more than 20 different brands of cars);
• Avtobull LLC (an integrated auto center for the maintenance of trucks and buses, also known for the introduction of advanced and innovative methods of organizing production);
• Porsche Center Pulkovo LLC (official Porsche dealer);
• professional association of technical inspection operators of St Petersburg NPO "Technical control and diagnostics" (more than a dozen firms - technical inspection operators);
• IO "Union of participants in the auto service industry" (an association of independent car service enterprises from all over Russia);
• industrial cluster "Autoindustry North-West" (an integrated structure that provides support and development for manufacturers of automotive components, communication with the Council for Professional Qualifications in the automotive industry, development of an independent qualification assessment);
• MAHA Russia LLC (Russian representative of the German company MAHA Maschinenbau Haldenwang GmbH & Co.KG, one of the leading manufacturers of equipment for car service);
• St Petersburg Motor Transport and Electromechanical College (the largest secondary vocational educational institution that trains personnel for transport organizations in the North-West region of Russia).
