Exchange programs

Exchange students from partner universities

Student exchange program is a student’s temporary placement in a foreign higher educational institution in order to form competencies (parts of competencies) provided for by the main educational program. SPbGASU students, as part of the inclusive education program, have the opportunity to go for a semester to study at one of the partner universities.

Students are sent for inclusive education, as a rule, not earlier than the second and not later than the last year of study, subject to good academic performance. Inclusive education does not lead to an increase in the period of mastering the main educational program of higher professional education. Recalculation of disciplines is carried out at SPbGASU in accordance with the rules of study.

The maximum duration of the period of continuous study abroad is one year.


Requirements

  • Students of the first year and the last semester of the graduation year cannot participate in the exchange program.
  • Good knowledge of the language of study.
  • Good academic performance.

Submission of applications (for most partner universities)

  1. The student chooses a program / course at one of the SPbGASU foreign partner universities, gets acquainted with the possibility of studying on an exchange basis at this university and the deadlines for submitting applications on the website of the university and in International Relations Division.
  2. The student fills out an application form for included studies at the selected university and brings it to the International Relations Division.
  3. The selection of participants for the inclusive education program is organized by the deans of the faculties in accordance with the educational specialty (field of study) of candidates for a trip abroad, academic performance, foreign language proficiency, and the terms of the cooperation agreement.
  4. The International Relations Division nominates the student for participation in the exchange program based on the application and sends the information to the partner university.

Terms of participation in the exchange program

As a rule, during the exchange study students pay the accommodation, meals and transport costs themselves.
