Choosing the university 

I was inspired by the stunning architecture of St Petersburg, its urban planning and cultural heritage. This influenced my decision to get a degree from one of the oldest Russian technical universities, providing in-depth professional training.

Challenges  

The student years were not easy at first due to the language barrier, but thanks to the constant support of teachers, I overcame it, and was able to truly enjoy my studies and receive a diploma with honors. 

People from the university who played an important role in life 

One of my teachers was Leonid Pavlovich Lavrov, then the dean of the Faculty of Architecture. I was very inspired by his dedication. He is an amazing professional who has dedicated his life to society, a modest and charming person.

The brightest memory during the years of study 

I remember how we spent days on end in architectural workshops, completing our projects. I remember classes in fine arts in the Hermitage and plein airs in parks. And, of course, the student dormitory on the Fontanka embankment with a wonderful view from the window. 

Career after graduating 

Shortly after receiving my diploma, I began to work with private and public architectural companies. Passion for the profession led me to work with the largest real estate developers in the Middle East. I have held major roles in projects for Emaar Properties (UAE/Pakistan), Qatari Diyar (Qatar), Eagle Hills Properties (UAE/Bahrain), most recently completed a project for The Red Sea Global (Saudi Arabia). Here we have built several world-class mixed-use complexes, luxury residential, commercial, hotel complexes and several shopping centers.

For support from teachers. For the fact that our program consisted of technical, artistic and humanitarian disciplines. This gives a comprehensive development.
