The Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO), together with Rospatent and the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property (RSAIP), announces the IV International Competition for Young Scientists in the Field of Intellectual Property “Intelligence”.
Competition objectives:
- increasing youth motivation for research activities in the field of intellectual property;
- identification and support of young researchers (undergraduate and graduate students);
- increasing the level of competence of young scientists in the field of intellectual property.
Thematic areas of the competition:
- promising trends in the development of the field of intellectual property;
- public administration in the field of intellectual property;
- small and medium enterprises: problems of intellectual property management;
- legal and economic mechanisms to support the commercialization of intellectual rights;
- museums and intellectual property: problems and ways to improve;
- problems of mediation and arbitration in the field of intellectual property;
- service inventions, utility models and industrial designs: problems of legal protection and defense;
- creation and commercialization of special, military and dual-use technologies;
- state, problems and prospects for the development of mechanisms for the protection of copyright in the Eurasian space;
- intellectual property as a driver for the development of the medical industry;
- intellectual property in sports;
- the importance of appellations of origin and geographical indications for the development of the region;
- a unified legal field as a necessary condition for the protection of intellectual rights in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union;
- industrial design and intellectual property;
- legal and economic preconditions for the integration of patent databases in the Eurasian space: problems and solutions;
- creation and development of an education system in the field of intellectual property in Russia and the countries of the Eurasian space.
The competition is open to students and graduate students of educational organizations of higher education and scientific organizations of the countries of the Eurasian space up to 35 years of age.
The winners of the competition will receive a cash prize in the amount of 140,000 Russian rubles, the size of the second prize will be 80,000 rubles, the third – 50,000 rubles.
