The International Youth Center of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, in collaboration with the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, invites international students in their final years at Russian universities to participate in the second round of the Horizons of Opportunities Continuing Education Program.
Dates: 1 July – 19 November 2026.
Venue: Moscow (the training is held online).
What does the program offer?
This is a unique educational initiative aimed at in-depth study of the humanities. The best participants will have the opportunity to complete an internship, which will open new prospects for professional growth.
Three fields of study to choose from
International School of Economics (ISE):
-
mastering the theoretical and practical foundations of business and entrepreneurship in Russia;
-
study of the specifics of marketing and branding in the Russian market;
-
mastering market and business analysis techniques;
-
familiarization with Russia's current international economic relations.
Outcome: skills for implementing your own business initiatives.
International Humanitarian School (IHS):
-
analysis of the current state of international relations;
-
study of international relations analysis methods;
-
consideration of the stages of Russia's foreign policy evolution;
-
familiarization with Russia's current initiatives in the field of international humanitarian cooperation.
Outcome: understanding the global situation and Russia's position on key geopolitical issues.
International School of Humanitarian Cooperation (ISHC):

mastering the theoretical and practical foundations of developing a grant project budget;
-
training in writing letters of support;
-
assistance in choosing a popular grant project topic.
Outcome: the opportunity to create your own project and receive funding from Russian grant organizations after graduation.
Terms of participation
Submission of application:from 1 February to 31 May 2026.
Educational program for selected participants: from 26 June to 21 August 2026.
The top 150 participants from all three schools will be invited to participate in the regional stage of the program, which will take place from 5 October to 19 November in the following cities:

Moscow–5–8 October, participants from the Central Federal District;

Vladivostok – 19–22 October, participants from the Far Eastern, Siberian and Ural Federal Districts;

Saint Petersburg – 2–5 November, participants from the Northwestern and Volga Federal Districts;
-
Krasnodar – 16–19 November, participants from the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts.
The three schools will culminate in a congress of the best graduates. The event will take place from 2 to 4 December with the participation of:

50 finalists of the regional stage;
-
25 last-year graduates.
The purpose of the congress:
-
strengthening the alumni community;
-
creating conditions for the effective exchange of experience and professional development of participants;
-
integration of the most active graduates into the expert community as speakers and moderators.
